WHAT WE ACCEPT:
Written Work: essays, poetry, fictional and non-fiction short stories, editorial/journalistic articles, op-ed, commentary, reviews, current events/world news
Art: digital artwork, online comics, illustrations, paintings, photography, digital media, videos, short films, audio and music
WHAT WE DON'T ACCEPT:
Works promoting bigotry, racism, sexism, ableism, islamophobia, homophobia ... The list goes on and on.
Politeen is designed as an inclusive platform for the underrepresented narratives to shine.

TIPS
Please include a title or headline for written work and a short summary for visual/audial art.
Weekly Pitches: Politeen accepts weekly articles covering pop culture and current events and art. Follow the same guideline except add “WEEKLY” to the headline of your form along with the category. Weekly pitches DO NOT have a deadline but we prefer these to be finalized. Editors will notify you for modifications and approval. We’re always happy to help so don’t forget to shoot us an email if you have a question.
