Seasons is a 4 part photo series by 17-year-old Chicagoan creative, Lola Chalmers-Dibbell. She combines real photos of model Faith Adekeye with words made from bright chromatic collage pieces against a background of the text. Here is what she had to say on her work:

"In this piece, I aimed to depict the different, strong, overwhelming feelings that one experiences in a romantic relationship( ex. engagement, crush, etc.) and explain them through nature analogies. I came up with this idea in the summer, a time when you experience more of the outside world and nature and feel more optimistic about relationships.

Love is easier to grasp on to then, but as the summer passes, relationships feel harder to maintain. Relationships, just like seasons, are a cycle, whether they be a relationship that begins and ends or relationships that you are trying to maintain. In the beginning, you have a great deal of hope for what the relationship can be, and you are also just living in the moment, enjoying their company, which is shown with the "Your Touch Feels Like Sunlight" piece.

As the relationship progresses, you inevitably end up hurting each other in some way, shown with the "Now I'm Burnt to a Crisp" piece. The "Your Love Comes and Goes With The Seasons" shows the fluctuating nature of a relationship and the need to accept those ups and downs. The "Sky Piece VI" written by Yoko Ono shows that the Winter phase, or "downs," of a relationship can be alleviated if you accept the good with the bad. "
